15 - 25 Volunteer Scheme

We are looking for a team of 5 young people aged between 15 and 25 who are looking for ways to improve their understanding of working in an arts venue, and who are prepared to commit some of their spare time every month to demonstrate their passion for the arts.

If you're aged between 15 and 25 and want to gain hands-on experience in the arts industry then we'd love to hear from you!

This year-long opportunity is designed for young people who want to enhance their engagement with a local arts venue, gain experience of how live performances are run and develop their CV. It is particularly suitable for those who are currently entering or seeking to enter the world of work or those who are taking a gap year/study break, but you can still apply if you are in full-time education – this volunteering opportunity can be worked around existing studying/employment commitments.

As a 15 - 25 Volunteer, you'll work as part of the Front of House team to support our staff and volunteer stewards in creating a positive and proactive welcome to the Corn Exchange. You'll also have the chance to get involved with some of our Learning & Participation projects, which could involve anything from assisting with workshops or shadowing an artist to hanging an art exhibition.

In return for your time, we can offer careers advice and guidance from our Learning Department as well as additional benefits such as complimentary tickets and food/drink offers.

If you, or someone you know, is interested in applying, you can find more information on our website here or you can email a member of the Learning Team.
