Catch our latest Visual Arts Exhibition up at New Greenham Arts Centre.

Catch our latest Visual Arts Exhibition up at New Greenham Arts Centre.

From Friday 19 June to Friday 24 July, an assortment of artwork from local residents will be on display at New Greenham Arts Centre. The exhibition showcases an array of work from the tutors and students of our weekly art classes and one-off sessions over the past year, and selected pieces will be up for sale so there are opportunities to pick up a great example of local art!

The Get Involved programme offers regular art courses and one-off classes that allow local people to develop existing art skills, learn new techniques or try something completely new. From wire sculpture and acrylics, to drawing and dressmaking, there is something for everyone in our varied programme.

Kerrie Walker, the Corn Exchange’s Learning & Participation Officer said: ‘We feel it’s really important to provide opportunities for local people to display their work, and this annual event is a favourite in our Visual Arts programme. I hope people will take inspiration from the pieces in this Exhibition to get creative; you don’t necessarily need to be a seasoned artist to do so and there are some great activities coming up to get involved in!’

The Exhibition is FREE to view, and will be open to the public 10am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, between Friday 19 June and Friday 24 July 2015.
