Avalon has an unrivalled reputation for finding new comedy talent and has many household names on their books, including Chris Addison, Rob Delaney, Jenny Eclair, Alex Horne, Chris Ramsey, Rosie Ramsey and Phil Wang. Previous line-ups have included Simon Brodkin, Steve Bugeja, Sophie Duker and Flo & Joan. April's Line-Up

Stuart Goldsmith

Stuart is an ex-street performer and comedian, who is now one of the most respected names in the business. As well as having written and performed stand up around the world, he is the creator of Chortle award nominated The Comedian's Comedian Podcast. Stuart has over 400 interviews with some of the worlds top comedians and writers on what it takes to be a comedian in the 21st century. His climate crisis comedy show Spoilers was one of the top 50 best reviewed stand-up show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Cecily Hitchcock

Cecily Hitchcock is a comedy siren, crowd charmer and heckler annihilator. Her zesty and descriptive storytelling style, animated expressions and lightning fast wit are gaining a presence online and on stage. Cecily has shared stages with Stephen Merchant and Ed Gamble, is an accomplished M.C and her sketches and TikTok videos have amounted almost 3 million views.

Micky Overman

Micky Overman is a comedian and writer living and working in the UK. She's originally from the Netherlands, giving her a unique and fresh perspective on all things British, comedy and life. She previously lived in Vancouver, Canada, where she studied acting and improv, adding to her skill set and forever sticking her with a slightly American accent. She moved to London to start stand-up in 2015, quickly rising through the ranks (she was a finalist in Funny Women and Leicester Square New Comedian in 2016). In 2018 she was a Chortle Best Newcomer Nominee, and wrote and performed her first solo show Role Model at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Michael Akadiri

Michael’s natural charm and cheeky, observational style has already seen him make an impact on the UK comedy scene. He’s the inaugural winner of the Komedia New Comedy Award and starred in the London finals of the BBC Comedy Awards in 2021 (BBC Three). Michael’s burgeoning TV Career has seen him feature on the latest series Comedy Central LIVE (Comedy Central) and The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2). He has collaborated with Channel 4, appearing in their Jokes Only series on their Facebook and TikTok. Michael has also written and performed original sketch content in partnership with LadBible UK. His radio credits include Capital Xtra’s Breakfast Show and a range of BBC Radio 4 shows with Loose Ends, Extra’s Comedy Club and Fred at the Stand. Michael’s 2022 Edinburgh Fringe debut was success, with his show No Scrubs selling out the run and culminated in a nomination for NextUp’s Biggest Award in Comedy. The subsequent UK tour in early 2023 was a hit and the critically acclaimed show is now available to view as a special on Michael’s YouTube channel.
