Join Vicky from The Creation Station with safe and age specific messy, painty, sensory arts and crafts based session where you’ll come and bond with your child, let them explore different colours and textures and interact with other children. These relaxed and friendly sessions are perfect for both you and your child to make friends, have a chat and play. Basically lots of fun and make something lovely each week to take home and treasure.
Spring term we’ll be focusing on colours. During our fun Exploring Colours term your child will enjoy a range of fun, educational and social art and craft activities. Our structured programme involves a lot of hands on creative activities to help you explore colours with your child. Let their imagination take flight whilst getting messy and learning so many important skills for physical and mental development. Let them completely let loose in a way they never could at home and even better – we’ll clear up after them.
Explore their colourful world, how to mix, match and create new colours, print, paint, create patterns, model, create collages, puppets, gifts, grow their own creature and make their own salt dough, plus more. Use of a wide range of materials, tools and concepts your child can experiment and enjoy their colourful world and engage all their senses to learn and grow.
Develop a wide range of skills at a rate and pace that suits them. The activities spark their natural curiosity so they develop their own journey of learning. Skill development includes bonding, fine motor, social, hand and eye co-ordination, new connections and many more early year skills.
