  • Artwork of five people in retro clothing, with red balloons for heads. It looks as though the people are walking on a dry wasteland, with a dark blue night sky behind them.

The 6pm performance of Future Cargo is now sold out, however there are still tickets available for the 8.30pm show.

A truck arrives from an unknown location with a mystery shipment. From the creators of Electric Hotel, Future Cargo is a contemporary sci-fi dance show; a strange outdoor spectacle for a headphone-wearing audience.

Within a shipping container on a flatbed truck, we reveal a parallel universe that seems both strange and familiar.

Please remember to bring your face covering with you as visitors over the age of 11 are required to wear them on arrival. We will be limiting the number of people admitted to each event to ensure appropriate social distancing between each group and once you have been seated face coverings may be removed.

Future Cargo is produced by The Place, supported by Without Walls and commissioned by Norfolk & Norwich Festival, SIRF, Freedom Festival Arts Trust and Out There International Festival. Co-commissioned by The Place, Festival.org, DanceEast, Southampton City Council, Pavillion Dance South West. Creation supported by 101 Creation Space & Royal Docks. Supported by using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
