Kakatsitsi is one of the world’s leading traditional African drumming groups and includes some of Ghana’s finest traditional drummers, dancers and singers.

Following their sold-out show at Newbury Spring Festival in 2013, these master drummers return to the Corn Exchange as part of their 2017 tour, bringing with them special guests including members of the !Gubi! Family from Namibia and two Bwiti ‘Nganga’ (Shamen) from Gabon, representing a fascinating and hugely talented cross-section of West African musical traditions from three different countries.

With special guests !Gubi! Family and Bwiti.

Prepare for infectious rhythms, traditional dance and master musicianship!

'[Kakatsitsi was] a festival highlight...I felt the warmth from these incredible drummers...[they] were spot on!'
