An exciting new group where knitters of all abilities can come together to knit projects to help those in need.
Led by an experienced practitioner, the group will work on various projects throughout the year but they will all have one common purpose, to help people in need.
From knitting hats for a pediatric unit to blankets for the homeless, join us for a coffee and a chat whilst working on pieces that'll make a difference.
No previous experience necessary, if you've always wanted to try your hand then come along too and learn through project work.
This term, the group are working on Twiddle Blankets, warm patchwork blankets with all manner of crocheted and knitted twiddles on them for people living with Dementia. We're excited to announce that the recipient of these blankets will be the residents of Willows Edge Care Home.
Duration: 2pm - 3.30pm
Some materials will be provided, bring along some 4mm knitting needles and any spare wool, other wools will be available.
