Mozart’s Serenade for 13 Winds, his ‘Gran Partita’ is a masterpiece of the genre and one of the composer’s most popular and accomplished works, full of variety, melody and contrapuntal invention.
Celebrated in Peter Schaffer’s ‘Amadeus’, as Salieri muses enviously on Mozart’s divine genius, this performance has been commissioned by the Festival from students of London’s Royal College of Music led by Italian postgraduate conductor protégé Nicolò Foron who is at the start of a spectacular international career.
The concert will conclude with Richard Strauss’s homage to Mozart’s masterpiece with his own Serenade for 13 Winds and other works showcasing members of the ensemble.
Please remember to bring your face covering with you as visitors over the age of 11 are required to wear them in the building, unless you are exempt from wearing one. If you remove your mask to eat or drink you must put it back on straight after.

Tickets must be booked in advance and we ask customers to select an e-ticket if possible. If you are unable to book an e-ticket, please speak to our Box Office team.
Bookings must be made in bubbles up to no more than 6 individuals or two households. Seats are split up into different size bubbles and you must select a bubble which fits with your group size otherwise the system will not proceed with the booking. If you require a bubble size which is not available please contact the Box Office and they will assist with your booking.

We want you to feel confident about booking in advance for performances. It is very important that people displaying symptoms of COVID-19 do not come to any event so, if you are unwell with coronavirus symptoms or having to self-isolate, please phone the Box Office and we will arrange for your tickets to be refunded, as long as you tell us in advance of the performance time.
