Rotary Club of Newbury presents Sounds of Wales. An evening of harmonic singing from a wide repertoire, including Welsh tunes, show songs, opera and popular melodies.

Cor Meibion de Cymru (CMDC or The South Wales Male Choir) has royal patronage from HRH the Prince of Wales and is one of Wales’s foremost male choirs.

CMDC performs harmonic singing from a wide repertoire, including Welsh tunes, show songs, opera and popular melodies.

Soloists are: Rhodri Prys Jones, Tenor and local favourite Helen Page on violin accompanied by Oliver Williams on piano.

They performed in prestigious venues; Cathedrals of St Davids(Pembs), Winchester, Southwark, Notre Dame, Brisbane, Los Angeles and San Diego and The Royal Albert Hall, St David’s Hall, Sydney Opera House and Canberra.

This choir prioritises deserving causes and has a proud record of raising funds for charities.
