See one of Britain's most treasured pianists make his Festival debut in this all Rachmaninov recital
Steven Osborne has an immense depth of musicality and exceptional refinement of expression across diverse repertoire. His numerous awards include The Royal Philharmonic Society Instrumentalist of the Year, two BBC Music Magazine Awards and two Gramophone Awards.
We’re delighted to welcome Steven for his Festival debut in this all Rachmaninov recital chosen to mark the composer’s 150th anniversary. The programme will include both piano Sonatas, each of them titans of the repertoire.
Steven Osborne will also be presenting his talk What Does Music Mean at the Corn Exchange on Tuesday 9 May.
