Greenham Trust presents...

The Characters on the Common

Tuesday 5th Sep 2017, Corn Exchange Auditorium

FREE (pre-booking required)

Former That’s Life TV presenter Bill Buckley hosts a lively and entertaining chat show in which we hear stories directly from the people who have helped shape the history of Greenham Common.

As the iconic landscape celebrates twenty years since being returned to the local people and the formation of Greenham Trust, we hear some amazing stories from those whose lives were transformed by events on the Common, from the second World War through to the present day.

This event is supported by the Newbury Weekly News and elements of the show will be broadcast by the BBC.

The Character on the Common is one of a series of talks and exhibitions to accompany a major outdoor event, Greenham: One Hundred Years of War and Peace, which celebrates 20 years of Greenham Trust.

Greenham: One Hundred Years of War and Peace is a large scale outdoor event and spectacle at Greenham Common on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 September. Find out more here.
