Watercolours and Pastels - Autumn 2023

A general painting class with an emphasis on watercolour and pastel painting with Tessa Kirby.
You will learn the basic techniques of watercolour in an accessible way, as well as pastel and other media, you will also learn colour theory and composition.
This will enable you to improve your creative skills, Tessa gives individual tutoring according to the needs of the group.
Students will be expected to bring and use their own materials during the course. A list of basic materials will be provided for beginners. If possible please bring the following materials with you:
- Small box of watercolour paints
- Paint brush suitable for watercolours
- Watercolour Paper
- Drawing board (if you have one to hand)
Duration: 10am - 12pm
Course Dates: 19 Sep - 17 Oct & 30 Oct - 27 Nov
Beginners and the more experienced are welcome.
All tickets must be booked in advance
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
