Join Berkshire Printmakers for a new textiles workshop over two afternoons.
The first workshop will see you learning about tie dye; how to create different patterns in the fabric using knotting, tying, pleating and stitching. You will have the chance to practice on sample fabric before embarking on your own scarf.
For the second weekend your tie dyed scarf will be washed and pressed ready for the next step. This workshop is all about silkscreen printing, learn about which screens and inks are suitable for fabric, get to grips with a squeegee, print on sample fabrics, and finally your own scarf ready to take home at the end of the day.
