Visit the venue and the auditorium and get to know your surroundings in advance of seeing this year's Pantomime.
This is an opportunity for families or groups to visit us before they come to see Beauty and the Beast and is aimed at anyone who may find the experience of a visit to the theatre or to a pantomime challenging.
This may be for any number of reasons such as
- someone in your party has ASD, Dementia or another need which means familiarity/planning are important to them
- mobility issues mean it would be useful to plan your access to your seat
- someone in your party is anxious about attending
- you want to be able to talk to a member of venue staff about an access need before you attend.
The visit will include an optional touch-tour where you can familiarise with the set, props and puppets featured in the show.
This opportunity is offered in particular support of anyone attending our Relaxed Performance on 6 January 2018.
A member of the Corn Exchange Learning and Participation Team and a member of the Front of House team will be on hand to show you around, answer any questions you may have and help you to plan your visit to the performance if you wish. We will also be able to answer specific questions about the relaxed performance and the particular way it supports it audience members.
If you want to know more about Relaxed Performances please visit our Access Page.
