Sarah Lane will introduce you to simple and intermediate hand embroidery stitches so you can embellish and decorate your clothes.

This hand embroidery workshop will introduce you to simple and intermediate hand embroidery stitches so you can embellish and decorate your clothes. A design kit including denim fabric, a dissolvable fabric pattern, threads, needle, embroidery hoop, embellishments and stitch plan will be provided, with pencils and scissors available to borrow. Please feel free to bring embroidery scissors, hoops etc. with you if you have them and a notebook and pencil will be useful to make notes.

We will experiment with all the stitches together during the class, starting with the very simple and then exploring some slightly more complex stitches and stitch combinations. We will also aim to add a few embellishments and sequins to enhance your embroidery. By the end of the workshop, you should feel confident to complete any unfinished work at home

Duration: 1pm - 4pm

All tickets must be booked in advance.

There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
