A friendly group where knitters of all abilities can come together to knit projects to help those in need.
Led by an experienced practitioner, the group will work on various projects throughout the year but they will all have one common purpose, to help people in need.
From knitting hats for a pediatric unit to blankets for the homeless, join us for a coffee and a chat whilst working on pieces that'll make a difference.
No previous experience necessary, if you've always wanted to try your hand then come along too and learn through project work.
Duration: 2pm - 3.30pm
Some materials will be provided, bring along some 4mm knitting needles and any spare wool, other wools will be available.
The price also includes a regular hot drink from the Corn Exchange Kitchen and Bar during the session.
Knit for Need is part of our Ageing Creatively programme.
If you don't want to come on your own, you're welcome to Sit With Me.
