10:00amJoin Base resident artist Charlotte Crawford to create your own mixed media animal artwork.
You will get to use a wide range of materials, including; wool, acrylic, paper, inks, beads and more. Charlotte will provide some reference images to inspire your creation or you can bring your own images of your favourite animals or your own pet. Charlotte will be providing a wooden panel/wooden canvas, wool, beads, acrylic paint, inks, and paper. It is encouraged to bring any more materials you wish to include in your piece.
Week one will include planning, sketching and adding the first layer of your creation onto a wooden canvas. This is the chance to be really adventurous and go wild with materials.
Week two will be another opportunity to add extra materials and colour. The final step will be refining details and adding any finishing touches before it's left to dry. Collection will be arranged in this session too.
Duration: 10am - 12.30pm
All tickets must be booked in advance.
Age Guidance: 18+
Some materials provided; a wooden panel/wooden canvas, wool, beads, acrylic paint, inks, and paper. It is encouraged to bring any more materials you wish to include in your piece.
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
