Wayfaring Volunteer Call Out

Step into the unknown.

Wayfaring, which comes to Basildon Park 18 - 21 July, is an outdoor event combining installation with live performance and music. Artists and performers from And Now: will work with, not against, the environment; creating structures made from wood and other materials that are available from the landscape. Come, look and listen as you walk through this shared space and perhaps even play an active part as you contribute to the ever evolving installation.

Volunteer Performers

We are looking for volunteer performers to take part in this evocative performance. You will participate in a workshop with the company directors to develop some gentle performative elements to add to the event.

No experience required and full training will be provided.

15 July, 10am-4pm for a workshop

20 July, 5pm-8pm for a rehearsal at Basildon Park

21 July, 2pm until the event finishes

Volunteer Stewards

We are looking for volunteers to help guide the audience across the landscape and around the installations.

No experience required and full training will be provided.

20 July, 5pm-8pm for a rehearsal at Basildon Park

Practical Volunteers

We are looking for a group of volunteers to help build the installation, to carry wood and other elements onto the site and chalk up trees:

14 & 15 July, 10am-5pm at Basildon Park

Could you also be available for the events days, to light some hurricane lamps and guide the audience through the site?

20 July, 5pm-8pm

21 July, 2pm until closing

Volunteer Fire Spotters

We are looking for volunteer Fire Spotters. You will be involved behind the scenes and responsible for monitoring the outdoor fire installations. No experience required and full training will be provided.
