Wellbeing in the Family

Ten workshops for families offering support, creative activities, and specialised information for parents and carers exploring physical, mental, emotional, educational, spiritual and social wellbeing.

Delivered by creative people in a creative place, aiming to connect families to each other, and to provide a space to share helpful ideas.

Funded by West Berkshire Council’s Community Education Fund and delivered by one of the Corn Exchange’s Learning and Participation team alongside expert help.

This course is free and is specifically for families of children aged 12 and under who are looking to build confidence in their ability to meet the challenges of parenting/caring. Families must already be receiving support from an organisation working to support families in West Berkshire and places on the course are by referral only.

Full information about course content, dates and times are available in the downloadable information sheets.

Please choose the information sheet relevant to you as a parent/carer interested in this course, or as an organisation working to support a family that you wish to refer to this course.

Referrals

We ask that key workers, social workers, home school link workers or any professional working to support a family fill in the referral form with a named adult from the family.

Examples of organisations that have already agreed to refer families include Homestart, local Schools and Family Wellbeing Hubs. Any organisations working to support families in West Berkshire are welcome to refer.
