In response to our ‘Talk to Us’ campaign, the Corn Exchange is launching a new Access List.
Find out more about our Disabled concession tickets and Essential Companion tickets...
At the Corn Exchange, we are committed to enabling as many people as possible to enjoy live performances, films and workshops and we hope to make people’s experience with us easier and more comfortable.
Last month, we invited our audiences to Talk to Us to find out what we can do to help with any access requirements people may have. We created a dedicated email address firstname.lastname@example.org to encourage people to share their thoughts and ideas on how we can improve our services.
We had a positive and constructive response which helped us to establish a new Access List. This entitles patrons to Disabled concession tickets (on performances where concession price is available) and Essential Companion tickets for performances at the Corn Exchange and New Greenham Arts. To become part of Access List there is a form to complete. The form must be completed in order to make bookings at this rate.
To sign up to our Access List, please download a form, complete, sign and return to us at email@example.com, drop into the Corn Exchange Box Office, or post it to Corn Exchange, Market Place, Newbury RG14 5BD. Alternatively, you can pick a form up in person from our Box Office.
Should your circumstances or requirements change or you require any further information on tickets for people with access requirements, please contact the Box Office on 0845 5218 218 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Booking on someone else's behalf
When completing the form in order to make bookings on behalf of someone else, please include both their access requirements and your own details on the access form, as well as a covering note highlighting this. Where possible, the form should be signed by the person who qualifies for the concession.
Not completed a form yet?
If you would like to book tickets at the Disabled concession rate or an Essential Companion ticket but have not yet signed up to the Access List, please contact the Box Office team on 0845 5218 218 who will be happy to reserve your tickets. Payment can be processed once your completed form has been received and processed.
Once signed-up to the Access List, customers can book tickets in person from the Box Office or by phone on 0845 5218 218 at the Disabled concession rate. Please mention when booking if you require an aisle seat, a seat near the front, a wheelchair space, are attending an accessible performance, or have any other requirements.
We are also reintroducing concession ticket prices to people receiving Job Seekers Allowance on performances where concession prices are available.
These two new types of concessions tickets will be available from the start of our Summer Season (booking open on Thursday 9 March for Members and Thursday 16 March for public bookings). For our film programme, the concessions tickets will be available from Friday 24 March for Members and Friday 31 March for public bookings.
If you have any queries or require any further assistance, please ask a member of our Front of House team, we are always happy to help.
