Arts & Culture Passport

The Corn Exchange, Newbury has developed a new, free activity resource in partnership with Newbury Library, West Berkshire Museum and Shaw House

The Arts & Culture Passport is aimed at ages 5-12 and encourages young people to explore the creative activities that each venue offers, recording their experience through simple, suggested activities. Young people can also collect stamps at each location on a map included in the booklet. The activities are based around the Discover Arts Award, which is a nationally-recognised achievement.

“This is an easy, fun way for 5-12 year olds to achieve their Discover Arts Award. All four Newbury venues have exciting activities and special events taking place throughout the year and we’re sure there will be plenty of interest for everyone. We’re looking forward to seeing more young people engaged in arts and creative activities in our area.”

Jacqueline Cooper, Librarian, West Berkshire Council

The Passport is free to pick up and complete, but if you would like to receive an official certificate from Trinity College London, a small charge of £3.50 is payable at the Corn Exchange Box Office.

The Passport can be picked up at any of the four venues from the end of August.
