Does your little one like to move and shake? If your toddler just can’t seem to sit still, they don’t have to at our new Toddler Dance classes, where little ones ages 2 – 4 are encouraged to wiggle to their hearts content!
Ellie Aldegheri of Lunas Dance Project will be running these sessions, which aim to promote confidence, coordination and rhythm through fun, active sessions using props and simple story-songs. Parents and carers are encouraged to join in and share the session too!
Aged 8 -14 and looking to explore contemporary and modern styles of dance? Junior Dance and Youth Dance are back in motion, and this time round they’re in our brand new Learning Centre. You’ll be able to create original work together with Debbie Camp of NCDC, so get your dancing shoes on and join the fun.
If you’re aged 18+ and looking for a sociable way to keep active, then our friendly Adult Contemporary Dance Classes are for you. Have fun and improve your fitness while learning core skills of contemporary dance, under the guidance of John Darvell of NOCTURN! With a reputation for delivering fun, engaging adult contemporary dance classes, John's sessions are all about encouragement and positivity.
If you have sound technical ability and wish to further develop your performance skills and your creative process, why not take up our Adult Choreography Course, also led by NOCTURN!
Over 55 and checked out our Learning Centre programme? We offer various arts and crafts workshops for adults of all ages, and our Ageing Creatively strand is designed specifically for people aged 55+. Come along and explore your creative side in our friendly Dare to Dance courses; there’s a class for both Beginners and Improvers; these sociable sessions help to improve your flexibility and fitness at your own pace.
If you’re a secondary school student taking part in our Schools Choreography Challenge this year, chat to your teacher about our male youth dance company, WISE and how you can be considered to be a part of the Boys Finale Project. We are looking for new members aged 11-16 to join the company in the spring.
