Meet the cast of Cinderella: Jordan Benjamin

The background is of a digital drawing of a night sky with silhouetted characters running from a castle towards a pumpkin. In the middle is Jordan's head-shot.

Next up we have one of our ensemble cast members, Jordan Benjamin. This will be his first pantomime and he tells us what he's looking forward to the most.

Have you been in a pantomime before? What is your favourite thing about performing in one?

No, this will be my first pantomime and I’m so excited! I love seeing people enjoy themselves and Christmas, so I know I’m gonna love this!

Do you have any memories of being taken to see pantomimes as a child?

I knew the school trip was going to be great if we were seeing a pantomime. They always excited me because it looked like so much fun and I could openly show my excitement without being self conscious! It let me be my energetic, loud, expressive self when every other environment wouldn’t let me; and the same can be said for me now!

If you were planning a royal ball, who would be on your dream guest list?

The entire Avengers cast, yes even Ant-Man; Hugh Jackman because I love The Greatest Showman and Logan; my family are always gonna be on the list and Bryce Papenbrook aka Anime royalty!

Do you have any Christmas traditions?

Yes, every year my family will do something called Santa’s Sack. It’s someone’s turn to go shopping and get five small gifts for each person, then wrap them all up, put raffle tickets on them and put them in a sack. We then take it in turns to choose a number and get a present from the sack. Just know you’re in trouble if I’m organising it, because last time I was in charge my sister got cat food!

What is your favourite Christmas song?

The Little Drummer Boy
- Pentatonix Version, or anything by Pentatonix!
