Introducing Town Sketchers – a creative adventure from Ageing Creatively!
Fancy getting outdoors, slowing down, and seeing your town through an artist’s eye? Town Sketchers is a FREE monthly meet-up for anyone curious about drawing on location and having a go at plein air sketching… no experience needed, just a willingness to try.
Guided by well-known local artist Simon Jardine, each session offers friendly, professional support as you sketch real streets, buildings and scenes in the fresh air. We’ll alternate monthly for 6 month between Hungerford and Lambourn.
How it works
- Book your place via the book now button above or you can call the Box Office on 01635 522733
- Meet at 10.30am sharp at Goodies Café, 17 High Street, Lambourn, RG17 8XL
- Enjoy 1hr 30mins of relaxed outdoor sketching
- Then head to a local café to warm up, share your work, and enjoy Simon’s helpful critiques and tips – all over a cuppa or even lunch
Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to build confidence and community through art, Town Sketchers is a welcoming, sociable way to get creative, meet others, and rediscover your surroundings. We provide a sketchbook and pen/pencil, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
