The spotlight first turns to glamour, empowerment, and sheer spectacle with Tease (Friday 27 June) - the ultimate burlesque and cabaret experience. Led by London’s top comedy compere and starring the West End’s award-winning sensations Lady Lust and Miss Temptation, Tease is an intoxicating blend of sensuality, humour and unrestrained fun. With high-energy choreography, show-stopping variety acts and a soundtrack bursting with hits from Burlesque, Chicago, Cher, Christina Aguilera, and more, this show is a love letter to confidence, celebration and the joy of performance.
Bringing together an exciting mix of styles and stories, the Young Performers Showcase taking place on Tuesday 1 July, is a vibrant celebration of creativity and community spirit. Audiences can expect an inspiring evening of original choreography, powerful theatre pieces, and live musical talent, all performed by some of the region’s most promising young artists. Under the direction of Reuben Spencer, the showcase highlights the diverse voices and dynamic energy of youth ensembles from across West Berkshire and nearby areas, offering a unique platform for emerging talent to shine.
Rounding off the our summer season dance offerings is Blue Ghost (Thursday 10 July), a visually stunning collaboration from Luz & Mannion Dance that merges the passion of traditional flamenco with the pulse of live electronic music. Inspired by the glow of the Blue Ghost Firefly and the importance of insect conservation, this multidisciplinary work is both a feast for the senses and a poignant reminder of our deep connection to the natural world. Through dance, music, and imagery, Blue Ghost invites us to embrace transformation and rediscover the beauty in the smallest of creatures.
