New films coming to the Corn Exchange Newbury Cinema this April

Escape the April showers with our latest selection of films and event cinema. 

From award-winning new indie titles to returning family favourites and electric blockbusters, there's something for everyone to enjoy in our upcoming film screenings. 

Two Prosecutors (12A)

A determined young prosecutor tries to overturn the case of a man wrongfully imprisoned under Stalin's regime. He travels to Moscow to address the higher authorities, but discovers the legal system may not be as he expected.

The North (15)

This acclaimed drama follows two friends who meet after a decade to hike the 350-mile walk they took as teens, hoping to rekindle their relationship. The solitude forces them to confront the truth about themselves and their friendship. 

Rebuilding (PG)

Starring Josh O'Connor (Knives Out: Wake Up Dead Man, Challengers), a divorced father and ranch owner must plant new roots in a new community after a wildfire destroys his home.

Glenrothan (12A)

In Brain Cox's directorial debut, an estranged son, returning home after 35 years, must reconnect with his family to save their beloved business before it's too late.

Michael (2026) (CERT TBC)

Witness the life and legacy of one of the most influential artists the world has ever known. From the Jackson Five to his iconic solo career - see where the story began. From his childhood as the star of the Jackson 5, through times of abuse by his father Joe Jackson. To his hit Thriller, and the purchase of Neverland Valley, into his tragic and unexpected death on June 25, 2009.
