Old Library Naming Opportunities

We have begun work on the interior refurbishment which will see the Old Library transformed into a new creative arts hub. But we now need your help to fit out the spaces so that we can open the building to the public and all the creative activity can begin - see the image above for our Old Library plans. 

Can you help us reach our target by naming a space in the Old Library?  

 The following spaces are available to name: 

Name a toilet £2,000*  

Choose a toilet in the Old Library and have an engraved plaque acknowledging your support fixed to the inside of the toilet door. 

Name the stairwell £5,000*  

An engraved plaque acknowledging your support will be displayed in the stairwell, which links the main engagement space and studio theatre with the first floor engagement space. 

Name the lift £10,000*  

An engraved plaque acknowledging your support will be displayed inside the lift which will serve the ground and first floors of the Old Library. 

Name the dressing room £10,000*  

An engraved plaque acknowledging your support will be displayed in the dressing room behind the main engagement space/studio theatre. 

Name the Balcony £20,000*  

An acknowledgement of your support will be displayed in the Balcony - which will have fixed seating overlooking the main engagement space/studio theatre. 

Name the first floor engagement space £40,000*  

An acknowledgement of your support will be displayed in this space which will host more than 60 weekly creative participation sessions, classes and workshops.  

Name the Café Bar £50,000*  

An acknowledgement of your support will be displayed in the busy Café Bar at the front of the building, open to both the public and users of the building.  

Name the main engagement space/studio theatre £60,000*  

An acknowledgement of your support will be displayed in this largest space in the Old Library. The refurbishment of this space will be phased, contact us for more information.  

*support from corporate bodies will be subject to VAT 

Terms and conditions: 

• Corn Exchange Newbury reserve the right to name other spaces within the building 

• Corn Exchange Newbury reserve the right to approve wording of acknowledgements and plaques** 

• Acknowledgements of support will be in place for 10 years from the date of opening the building to the public, unless stated otherwise 

• All acknowledgments of support for these spaces will be exclusive, unless otherwise stated 

• The gift levels published are intended as minimum amounts necessary to name physical spaces 

• Donations of £10,000 and above will be subject to the Corn Exchange Newbury due diligence process
