Trust & Foundations
As a registered charity (No. 1080567), the Corn Exchange is supported by a wide range of charitable trusts and foundations, and we rely substantially on their generosity in supporting all the work we do in Newbury and surrounding areas.
They help us to attract the widest possible audiences and participants from all ages and backgrounds in providing the funding to allow us to programme different art forms at affordable prices and provide free social, creative and inclusive opportunities for everyone to engage with the arts.
How our partnerships work
Charitable trusts and foundations work with us in many ways including:
- Supporting creative learning and participation opportunities for children and their families, adults, the over-55s and those facing mental health challenges
- Engaging with young people in schools and educational settings and providing pathways to careers in the arts
- Welcoming first-time audiences in an accessible and engaging way
- Commissioning new work
- Supporting artists at different stages of their careers
- Enhancing our technical and production facilities
- Helping us bring the highest standard of performing arts to Newbury.
We’d be delighted to talk to you about how your charitable trust can support our work. If you would like to find out more about projects you can support, please call or email Sally Fletcher-Bott, sallyfb@cornexchangenew.co.uk our Fundraising and Research Officer, on 01635 582666 or ruths@cornexchangenew.co.uk
