Creative Writers Club - Autumn 2025

For seasoned and aspiring writers alike, join us for our new monthly club for creatives.

Meet, collaborate and share ideas with fellow writers whilst enjoying a tea, coffee or draught soft drinks (included in ticket price) from our Café Bar.

The aim of the sessions is to provide a mixture of writing challenges for members who write short stories, memoirs, poetry, song lyrics, blog posts. or indeed any other form of creative writing.

Writers will also be able to submit work in progress if they wish, for other members to provide reasoned critique.

Led by local author Tim Jarvis. Tim read Modern History at Oxford and subsequently spent his career in the corporate world. Since leaving the world of work, he finally has time to write. Last year, he published his first novel The Woman in the Wings and after numerous attempts won a prize at this year's Highclere Castle Literary Festival.
