Ahead of her performance of Comb, Charlotte Mooney leads an introduction to the art and craft of storytelling.

The session will delve into this oral tradition and how we can use it to lift a story from the page and tell without script. We will look at the fundaments of story structure, how to begin to visualise and bring a story to life with spontaneity and improvisation.

The workshop will include opportunities to perform and share stories together.

Learn about the show:

At times chilling, hilarious and moving, Comb is an ode to the stories of the people we have lost. Through a tangled ride into Celtic, Slavic and Siberian folklore, Comb is a wake-up call for understanding just how interwoven we all are.
