Based on a true story, two down-on-their-luck musicians (Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson) form a joyous tribute band, proving it's never too late to find love.
Following their dreams, they form a Neil Diamond tribute band called Lightning and Thunder, rising from dive bar gigs to unexpected hometown stardom. When tragedy strikes, their love and passion give them the strength to overcome hardships and inspire everyone around them.
