CORN EXCHANGE

Corn Exchange is situated in the town centre of Newbury, 5 minutes walk from the rail station and within the Market Place.  Market days are Thursday and Saturday, with Farmer's Markets on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.  There are a range of independent and chain shops within a few minutes walk, including a large Sainsbury's, Mark & Spencer and Tesco Metro, with a convenience store just across the road from our main entrance.  There are a range of restaurants in the vicinity offering a variety of cuisines, from Italian, Spanish, Chinese and Indian food, to traditional British and pub meals.

Resources include:

  • a 10% discount at the Kitchen in the Corn Exchange (food served all day and evenings)
  • a newly fitted kitchen backstage with dishwasher
  • 4 dressing rooms, shower facilities (please ask if you require towels)
  • 2 washing machines, 2 tumble dryers, iron and ironing board

The loading bay is at the rear of the building which faces onto Wharf Road (nearest postcode is RG14 5QP) and is the first driveway on your left when approaching from Bear Lane. We have very limited space for parking, however there is a public car park across the road, with others nearby.  Please contact our Head of Technical & Operations, Guy Dickens if you plan to bring a vehicle larger than a Luton / large transit van.
