Memory Café

Monday 16th Apr 2018 — Monday 16th Jul 2018, Corn Exchange

A series of monthly Memory Cafés for people living with dementia and their carers.

These friendly, drop-in sessions are designed to provide support for people living with Dementia, their carers and family members. They are a place to find support, share concerns, celebrate and take part in arts activities in a comfortable environment. All activities are led by a professional artist and are programmed with the help of the Alzheimer's Society, with the aim to stimulate the brain and encourage conversation.

Sessions will also feature homemade cake, tea and coffee, all set in our friendly Balcony Bar space, each session last an hour and a half and there is no need to pre-book.

In the Summer term, in response to feedback, we are hosting two special Tea Parties! There is no pressure to participate in activities, simply come along for the tea and cake and good company. Hosted by out Ageing Creatively coordinator and our dedicated team of volunteers.
