One of the outdoor programme's most spectacular events Ablaze, returns to light up the Kennet and Avon Canal with spectacular fire sculptures and live music.
In 2013, Ablaze enchanted audiences with its mesmerising display of fire sculptures, transforming the canal and Victoria Park into a realm of flickering braziers and ingenious installations. Let’s take a canalside promenade together in celebration of art, community and a decade of outdoor excellence with Corn Exchange Newbury and 101 Outdoor Arts.

Timed entry between 7.30pm – 9.40pm.
Booking
Please reserve 1 ticket per person up to a maximum of 6 tickets. Children under 18 months do not need a ticket. Timed slots are available every ten minutes between 7.30pm and 9.40pm each night.
Arrival & Tickets
This is event is free but pre-booking a slot is required.
To ensure the safety of all guests, please only arrive at the time of your pre-booked tickets. There will be a short queue and our stewards will be there to guide you.
You do not need printed tickets, please just have your booking confirmation ready to show on a phone when you arrive. Also, If you can no longer attend please let us know so that we can offer your tickets to another party.
The Route
The trail begins at West Mills swing bridge and takes you on a journey along the canal path to Victoria Park. This takes approximately 30-60 minutes to complete.
Audience
This event is suitable for all ages. Please be advised that the route follows parts of the canal path if you have small children.
Accessibility
The route is accessible to wheelchair users. Please let us know if you have any specific accessibility requirements.
Additional Information
Ablaze is an outdoor event so please dress sensibly for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Toilets will not be available on the trail but are available in the town centre.

Ablaze is part of the Corn Exchange Newbury's outdoor arts programme produced by 101 Outdoor Arts and funded by Greenham Trust and Arts Council England.
