Audition Prep Workshop

Prepare for auditions with a training day led by actor Simon Darwen! 

Discover the culture and practice of drama school and industry auditions. Learn about the audition process and what makes a good audition. Overcome nerves, tackle fears and understand how to present the best version of yourself.

Students will be able to perform audition speeches in front of each other and receive peer feedback before receiving direction and feedback from a professional actor.                    
 

About the practitioner:

Simon Darwen is a professional actor and drama coach. He has performed on stage at the Royal Shakespeare Company and has appeared on screen in Top Boy, Call the Midwife and Silent Witness. Simon is a LAMDA Certified drama coach.
