Ballroom and Latin Improvers - Spring 2026

Work with Emma Mayo to continue developing steps and variations in Waltz, Cha-Cha-Cha, Slow Rhythm, Rumba, and Quickstep, as well as introduce new dances and rhythms. 

This course is designed for beginners who have attended a couple of courses and are still working towards a good grounding in a variety of dances.

These classes may also be suitable for those who have danced in the past or tried other types of dancing. Everyone is welcome, whether you attend as a couple, want to come with friends or are dancing solo!

What to bring:
Bring a bottle of water with you and wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move, with layers that can be removed if it gets warm. Special footwear is not required; please only wear heels if you are used to them. Choose shoes that move easily across the floor—ideally without rubber soles, such as trainers.

What to expect:
Expect fun and supportive Ballroom and Latin dance classes, where those with some prior experience can further develop their skills in styles such as the Waltz, Cha-Cha-Cha, Slow Rhythm, Rumba, and Quickstep in a friendly and welcoming environment! Everyone is welcome whether you are attending as a couple, with friends or solo. No one will ever be left on the sidelines, unless they prefer to dance solo - you will always have the opportunity to dance with the teacher or other attendees.
