Exploring Yinka Shonibare’s exhibition Ritual Ecstasy of the Modern, Charlotte will offer a fascinating insight into Shonibare’s printmaking practice while discussing how his work examines race, class and cultural identity.

Charlotte Mullins is an art critic and broadcaster. Her latest book Art Nation: journeys through Britain and Ireland’s past, present and future, will be published by Yale University Press in October 2025. Her latest books include A Little History of Art (Yale 2022) and A Little Feminist History of Art (Tate 2019). She writes a weekly column for Country Life, is the presenter of the podcast Making a Mark and has recently written catalogue essays on Clare Woods, Ali Banisadr and Vicken Parsons.
