Existing to bring a roadshow of comedic brilliance to your doorstep, The Comedy Network has been a proving ground for some of the biggest names in British comedy. Household names like Lee Mack, Russell Howard, Jenny Eclair, Ed Gamble and Lou Sanders have all cut their teeth on the network circuit. As seen on BBC’s Live At The Apollo, Conan (TBS), Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled (Dave), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), Stuart is a climate comedian and podcaster. He's the regular studio warm-up comic for The Graham Norton Show and has performed at Wembley Arena and at the world’s leading comedy festivals (Montreal’s Just For Laughs, the Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and South By Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas).
Bella Hull is a London-based stand-up comedian and writer, and one of the UK’s most exciting young comedians.
In 2022, Bella brought her debut hour, Babycakes, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and subsequently to London’s Soho Theatre to wide acclaim. She regularly plays to sell-out crowds across the UK, and her TV appearances include BBC’s Stand Up for Live Comedy, ITV’s The Stand Up Sketch Show and Comedy Central Live. She also co-hosts the Last Night Ever podcast with Jacob Hawley.
As a writer, Bella is working on a script commission with the BBC, and her writing has been featured on BBC Radio 4’s Newsjack, Flux Magazine, and she is the advice columnist for Quadra magazine.
Bilal Zafar was nominated for the lastminute.com Best Newcomer Award for his debut show, CAKES, at the Edinburgh Fringe. Bilal also won the New Act of the Year award, joining the company of previous winners such as Stewart Lee, Ardal O’Hanlon, Joe Wilkinson and Linda Smith.
He was the runner-up at the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year competition. He has appeared on BBC3, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Asian Network, and has written for The Independent.
He also runs a successful Twitch page, which has racked up over 12.3K followers. He streams an interactive, improvised comedy show three times a week where he plays a football manager embroiled in scandal, featuring various special guests. The show is growing every day and has been picked up by multiple radio shows and newspapers.
Jessie Nixon (Compere)
Jessie Nixon is a Bristol-based stand-up comedian with a dynamic, friendly stage presence and a sharp wit. Jessie’s credits include tour support for Fern Brady, Steve Bugeja and Lou Sanders.
She has an impressive roster of achievements under her belt, as she came third at the Funny Women Stage Awards 2022, as well as BBC New Comedian of the Year Regional Finalist 2021, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Nominee 2021, and more!
