Join us for an evening of the freshest comedy!

Each night two comedians test out brand-new material in their quest to build an hour(ish) long show each. This is your chance to catch familiar favourites and rising stars at their most daring. Come along, have a laugh, and find the funny together!

Wednesday 18 February:

Cecily Hitchcock

Cecily Hitchcock is a comedy siren, crowd enchantress and heckler annihilator. Her unique mix of outlandish anecdotes and off-beat observations have gained traction both online and on stage. Cecily is an accomplished live M.C and her sketches and stand up videos have amassed over 15 million views on social media and have been featured on Ladbible, The Sidemen and Brewdog.

Jonny Pelham

Jonny Pelham is one of the most exciting stand-up comedians in the UK. He’s appeared on shows such as; Live at the Apollo, Mock The Week, Alan Davies As Yet Untitled, Russell Howard’s Stand-up Central, Live from the BBC and Bobby and Harriet Get Married.

He’s written and starred in his own scripted comedy projects; Late Bloomer, for Sky Comedy Short Season and Brad Boys for Channel Four Comedy Blaps, as well as working as a script consultant for BAFTA wining sitcom, Almas Not Normal.

He’s currently developing a brand-new scripted project, with Instinct Productions; and has just delivered a cutting-edge documentary series for channel four based on his own personal experience called, Let’s Talk: Child Sexual Abuse.

His hit show Off Limits, is currently touring, following phenomenal critical acclaim and a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

 

Thursday 19 February:

Sara Barron

Sara Barron is one of the fastest-rising comedians of her generation. Since her 2018 debut at the Edinburgh Fringe, she’s starred on shows including Live at the Apollo (BBC), Would I Lie to You? (BBC) and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC).

A powerhouse live act, Sara has taken four critically-acclaimed stand-up hours, For Worse (2018), Enemies Closer (2019), Hard Feelings (2022) and Anything For You (2024) to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and had multiple runs in London’s Soho Theatre. Her shows have received rave reviews from publications including The Times, The Guardian, The Independent, The Evening Standard and The Scotsman, and she was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Sara also co-created the smash-hit Succession recap podcast, Firecrotch and Normcore.

Bilal Zafar

Bilal Zafar was nominated for the lastminute.com Best Newcomer Award for his debut show, CAKES, at the Edinburgh Fringe. Bilal also won the New Act of the Year award, joining the company of previous winners such as Stewart Lee, Ardal O’Hanlon, Joe Wilkinson and Linda Smith. 

He was the runner-up at the Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year competition. He has appeared on BBC3, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Asian Network, and has written for The Independent. 

He also runs a successful Twitch page, which has racked up over 12.3K followers. He streams an interactive, improvised comedy show three times a week where he plays a football manager embroiled in scandal, featuring various special guests. The show is growing every day and has been picked up by multiple radio shows and newspapers.

 

Thursday 12 March:

Felicity Ward

Felicity is a London-based comedian, actor, writer and knucklehead.

Born in a small town just a podcast north of Sydney, Australia, she started stand up in 2008...three years before being born. She is referring to herself in the third person and it’s making her very uncomfortable. Before she started stand up, she wrote and starred in The Ronnie Johns Half Hour sketch show, then had a bit of a nervo and moved to straight stand up.

She’s spoken at length in her stand up and personally about her struggles with mental health including presenting a documentary Felicity’s Mental Mission and her netflix special for Live At The BBC series, What if there is no toilet?

Johnny White Really-Really

Johnny White Really-Really is a stand-up comedian, writer and musician from Sheffield. Described by Chortle in their five-star review of his 2023 stand-up hour Catland, as 'a truly singular mind and talent', his unique brand of comedy is 'taking the artform in a genuinely modern direction'.

His most recent show AM/PM earned him a nomination for the Malcolm Hardee Award at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe. He has appeared on Starstruck (BBC), The Paddock (Channel 4), Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared (Channel 4), and cult web series Year Friends (Blink Industries). He also hosts the podcast Lunchwatch from Hattrick. 

As a musician and composer, Johnny has composed film soundtrack work for the National Gallery, The National Theatre, The Old Vic Theatre, the Guardian, Vice, and on the feature films How To Be (2007), and Hide And Seek (2014), which won the Michael Powell Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.
