Get Hooked: Crochet Taster Session
Priority

Curious about crochet but not sure where to start? This one-hour taster session, as part of The Base's Festival of Arts and Crafts, is the perfect way to get hooked.

Join local maker Naomi Ticehurst of Never Without Wool for a relaxed, hands-on introduction to crochet. You’ll learn how to chain on and try your first stitches (single crochet) – the building blocks for so many lovely handmade pieces.

Whether you’ve always wanted to learn or just fancy trying something new, this mini session is a fun and friendly way to give it a go.

🧵 No experience needed
🧵 Friendly, step-by-step guidance
🧵 Leave with a little square of crochet and a sense of what’s possible!

Led by Naomi Ticehurst, a lifelong crocheter and knitter with a passion for helping beginners get started, this is a welcoming space to play, ask questions, and see if crochet might be your new favourite hobby.

The Base's Festival of Arts and Crafts taster workshops are kindly supported by The Berkshire Vet.
