Dive into this fantastic introduction to bookbinding and learn to bind a hardback notebook to take home.
This workshop will introduce you to many of a bookbinder's most used tools and how to handle them safely. The book we will make is a simple hardbacked pamphlet style notebook.
We will learn how to fold and trim the pages of your book before measuring, cutting and making its cover and joining them together to finish your book. We will also discuss suitable materials and the importance of paper grain.
This class is suitable for complete beginners and more experienced crafters looking to try something new. All tools and materials will be provided, and you will go home with a full set of instructions so that you can reproduce this project at home.

All tickets must be booked in advance.
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
