Life Drawing Master Class - Autumn 2025

Join us for a taster Life Drawing class with Base resident artist Richard Francis Bellin.
During this masterclass you will be introduced to creative techniques that will enhance your artistic skills while mastering the human form. Suitable for beginners looking to sharpen up their observational skills, or for regulars looking for a relaxed and sociable drawing session.
Duration: 10am - 12pm
Age Guide: 18+
Materials: A selection of basic materials and paper will be available to use, with easels and boards, though students will be encouraged to bring their own to enable diversity.
Guide to essential materials to bring
• Paper A2 or above (or a roll of wallpaper lining paper)
• Pencils 4B
• Masking tape
• Clips or pins to attach paper to board
• A rubber: hard and/or putty
• Willow Charcoal
• White conte crayon
• Any coloured materials e.g. pastels crayons.
All tickets must be booked in advance.
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
