Oil Painting - Summer 2025

Perfect for those with previous experience of working with oil paint, this course offers the opportunity to experiment with oils and elevate your artistic style with Base resident artist Richard Francis Bellin.
For the first lesson Richard will provide the paints, canvases, palette knives, brushes etc, that you will need. However for the following sessions you have to bring your own materials.
A small list of materials that Richard recommends for his sessions going forward are:
- Pen
- Pencil
- Notebook
- Sketchbook
- Paint brushes
- Oil paints
- Mixing palette
- Palette knife
- Canvas or canvas board
Location: Lookout Studio, The Base
Course Dates: Wednesdays, 23 Apr - 21 May & 4 Jun - 2 Jul
Duration: 2pm - 4pm
Age Guide: 18+
All tickets must be booked in advance
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
