The competition was founded in 2009 by the Sheepdrove Trust and is now widely recognised as one of the important national piano competitions. The winning pianist’s programme will include works by Ravel, this year’s featured composer to celebrate his 150th anniversary. Today’s recital is an opportunity to hear more of the winning pianist following the competition held at Sheepdrove, Lambourn on Sunday 19 May.
