Raku Clay Workshop - Summer 2025

Suitable for beginners and more experienced potters alike: discover the elemental nature of 'raku-firing' with Base resident artist Cáit Gould.
One pot per person will be provided* and demonstration of a variety of decoration techniques. Raku-firing takes place that afternoon, meaning you can take your creations away with you on the day!
*Bring your own bisque-fired raku pots in addition if you like.
Location: The Base Greenham
Duration: 10am - 5pm
All equipment, materials, firings and glaze included. Bring an apron or old clothes to wear.
All tickets must be booked in advance
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
