Three male tap dancers, dressed in sharp black tuxedos with white shirts and black suspenders, leap into the air in perfect unison.

Take a step back into 1920s & ‘30s New York City and through the doors of Harlem’s hottest nightclub, The Cotton Club!

For one night only, Swinging at The Cotton Club celebrates the breathtaking dance and music of the legendary nightclub. This is where dancers such as Bojangles Robinson and the Nicholas Brothers lit up the stage with their breathtaking routines, whilst the music greats of the era, such as Duke Ellington, Cab Calloway, and Ella Fitzgerald, would have had the club swinging.

In this show, the exhilarating dance and music of the Cotton Club is recreated by the fabulous Lindy Hop Dance Company, alongside The Harry Strutters Hot Rhythm Orchestra featuring American vocalist Marlene Hill and compere/vocalist Megs Etherington. Get ready to be transported back to a glamourous era of Speakeasies, Flappers, and Lindy Hop, with Swinging at the Cotton Club!

A powerful female vocalist in a sparkling silver dress passionately sings into a microphone, her hand on her stomach. Behind her, the jazz band continues to perform, with musicians playing brass instruments.
A lively jazz band performs on stage, dressed in black tuxedos with red rose boutonnieres. In front of them, five dancers in elegant black and white suits strike playful and energetic poses, engaging with each other. The stage is set with vintage-style white music stands labeled "HS."
