Bring your camera to experience a day with wildlife photographer Simon Booker and gain an insight into the life and techniques of a professional photographer.

During this full day experience, Simon will introduce you to his wildlife photography techniques. 

To start the day, you will be introduced to the essential skills and photography basics to accelerate your progress. Some practical exercises will warm up your lens. 

In the afternoon you will explore wildlife photography in the field, discussing locations, composition, and photography techniques, followed by time to explore the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 60 exhibition for inspiration. 

To round off the day, you will be introduced to basic editing techniques and explore creative approaches to getting the most out of your images. 

This experience day is open to all levels, from beginners with a keen interest to learn more, to more advanced amateur photographers wanting to enhance their skills.

Location: The Lookout Studio, The Base Greenham

Duration: 9.30am - 5pm

Please bring your own camera and manual.

All tickets must be booked in advance
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
