Young Creatives: Lighting Design (Age 11 - 14)

Priority

Interested in technical theatre and working backstage? Led by an industry professional, these free courses provide a hands-on introduction to lighting design.

Presented as part of our Careers through the Arts programme in partnership with Watermill Theatre and funded by Greenham Trust.

No previous experience is necessary just enthusiasm for technical theatre. 

Across the 10 weeks you will learn the foundations of lighting in the theatre through hands-on workshops, exploring a variety of equipment.  

Location: Old Library Downstairs

Course dates: 22 Apr - 1 Jul (no session w/c 25 May)

Times: 4pm - 5pm

Suitable for ages 11 - 14

All tickets must be booked in advance.
There is no need to print or collect a ticket as the team will have a record of those who have booked. Booking for workshops and courses close 24 hours before the start time. Please note we reserve the right to cancel any course or workshop if the minimum numbers are not met. If we are not able to run a workshop you will be informed three working days ahead of the course or workshop start date.
