Kick off your May half term with family fun at the Corn Exchange, Learning Centre and The Base!

Start this May half term with a trip to the Corn Exchange, Learning Centre or The Base, where there is something on offer for everyone including some fantastic shows, perfect for the whole family.

The first family offering on our stage this half term is Pop Divas Live! (Tuesday 28 May). This family friendly pop concert experience is perfect for little divas to get their fix of all their favourite female stars including Taylor Swift, Little Mix, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa and many more. Guaranteed to have popular songs for the family to sing-along to and fast-paced dance routines that everyone will want to learn, this is the perfect first concert experience for music-loving little ones. There will even be the chance for some lucky audience members to join the performers live on stage!

For those looking for a thrill this school holidays, West End Magic (Thursday 30 May) is an exciting family-friendly magic show with amazing ventriloquism, juggling and crazy stunts. Award-winning British Champion of Magic Oliver Tabor and his team will leave the audience mind-blown with their mind reading mysteries and deft defying stunts.

The final show on offer for families this May half term is Fireman Sam: The Great Camping Adventure (Sunday 2 June). Everyone’s favourite fireman and his friends are coming to Newbury for two performances this school holiday. When Norman and his friends go on an adventure to explore the countryside, he finds himself in a spot of bother. Audience members will help Fireman Sam to save the day and make sure everyone gets home safe. There is also the opportunity to take part in a pre-show workshop for Fireman Sam: The Great Camping Adventure, where little ones will be able to make their own fire engine out of repurposed junk materials that they can take home and enjoy after the show.

Over at the Learning Centre, children ages 4 – 11 can take part in the popular Create and Make (Tuesday 28 – Friday 31 May) sessions. Activities during these sessions include arts and crafts, drama and more! The children will get to work with professional practitioners to explore the theme of rainbows through creative arts, developing new skills and making new friends.

At The Base, Greenham’s popular Half Term Art Club (Tuesday 28 – Friday 31 May) children aged 6 – 11 can experiment with different art techniques and creative projects, encouraging them to use their imaginations and get creative during the school holidays.
