An update on The Old Library project

The beginnings of The Old Library project are underway!

You may have noticed that the scaffolding is down and the exterior of the Old Library is looking smart and tidy. As owners of the building, Greenham Trust have done a lot of work repointing brickwork, replacing windows, mending the foundation stone and fixing the roof to ensure that the building is weatherproof for the winter.

The Corn Exchange is transforming the Old Library into a new arts hub for Newbury. Once complete the building will include dedicated engagement spaces for our creative participation activities, a new studio theatre and a small café and bar.
